Suley Amjad is a prospective Engineering and Applied Mathematics major. Outside of mock trial, Suley enjoys spending his time working in the woodshop and machine shop. Suley is also a member of the Swarthmore Chinese Music Ensemble, where he is the lead percussionist.
Scout Hayashi '22
Scout Hayashi is a Biochemistry major and a Mathematics minor. She's done mock trial since high school, but hopes to work in the medical field one day. When she's not doing mock trial, she hurdles for the Swarthmore Track and Field team.
Joe Barile '21
Joe Barile is a Neuroscience major and English Literature minor on the pre-med track who has aspirations for a career in surgery. Besides participating mock trial, Joe plays varsity soccer, gives campus tours to prospective students, and is research assistant in a social neuroscience lab.
Kevin Liao '21
Kevin Liao is a sophomore from Brooklyn pursuing a double major in Political Science and History. Outside of Mock Trial, Kevin serves on the Student Government Organization as a Class Senator, a member of the Bias Response Team and he writes for the Phoenix.
Peiwen Wang '22
Peiwen Wang is a prospective Anthropology and Film and Media studies major on the pre-law track from Beijing, China. She is interested in criminal law and restorative justice. Peiwen works as a Chinese tutor and she is a member of both the I20 club and a Chinese dance club on campus.
Kali Blain '22
Kali Blain is prospective Neuroscience major with a minor in Political Science. She hopes to eventually go to law school and have a career in cyberlaw. Kali is a member of Swarthmore’s African-American Student society as well as a new member of Swarthmore’s Mock Trial team.
Pempho Moyo '21
Pempho Moyo is a prospective double major in Psychology and Educational Studies. She occasionally writes for her college's paper and has written for Thrive Global. When she is not studying, she is either at Mock Trial Practice, working in an Education lab, or napping!
Veronica Yabloko '22
Veronica Yabloko is a prospective English and Political Science major on the pre-law track. Outside of mock trial, Veronica is a vocalist who sings with the chorus, jazz ensemble, and Mixed Company a cappella group, in addition to writing for The Phoenix newspaper.
Michael Gross '21
Michael Gross is a sophomore from New York City pursuing a double major in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies. Outside of Mock Trial, he is on the Varsity Men's Soccer team, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and loves to hike and ski.
Chantal Reyes ’22
Chantal Reyes is an Environmental Studies major with a Spanish minor on the pre-law track from Portland, OR. In addition to Mock Trial, she plays soccer, is a member of ENLACE, works towards environmental justice, and is a member of the Athletes for Diversity and Inclusion.
